For the past few months, we have been working on a set of four new Ubongo Kids episodes with the UK-based Goodall Foundation (formerly known as the Robin and Sylvia Goodall Charitable Foundation).
The stories we tell our girls can affect their future From birth, girls around the world are dressed in girly pink clothes and princess tiaras, and are exposed to fairy tales like Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty through children’s books, TV, and other media.
Activity Ubongo brings fun learning to millions of kids in Africa by leveraging the power of entertainment, the reach of mass media and the interactivity of mobile phones.
In Summary: We now have local animators, cartoons and storytellers like Ubongo Kids who create content that relates to our culture, socio-economic issues and still manage to bring out their key objective education and entertaining the young generation.
